Overview

A Cosmetic & Fragrance Company seeks an Operations Manager: Front Office –   will be responsible for the overall management of the Member Collections Department and Bottleshop (condensed warehouse), to ensure that we meet member expectations. To plan, lead, guide, empower and create a positive and productive work environment for employees. Responsible for ensuring that members’ orders are ready for collection and upon collection, the member encounters a positive, professional and efficient experience. This environment can be akin to an exclusive Store experience within the Retail space.

· Excellent verbal and written communication, with English the main medium of communication and other South African languages (particularly Xhosa) an added advantage.

·       Must be computer Literate – Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required and adaptability to learn inhouse web-based systems and more, as required

WHAT OTHER DETAILS / EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS

1.       2-5 years’ experience in a similar role in the Retail Frontshop (cosmetics advantageous).

2.       Logistics Management / Bcom Marketing/ Bcom Business degree or equivalent tertiary qualification advantageous

3.       Knowledge of stock Management and ERP/MRP systems advantageous

4.       Strong Leadership and Analytical skills.

5.       Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations.

6.       Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects with high attention to detail.

7.       Excellent written and communication skills.

8.       Computer proficient MS Office, Word/Excel/Power Point.

9.       Previous experience in focusing on the customer experience (Front shop experience)
