This position entails taking a lead role in advancing the sales initiatives related to our wholesale products and services. The primary responsibility is to proactively drive and enhance the overall sales performance within the wholesale sector of our business. This involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans, cultivating relationships with key wholesale clients, and exploring opportunities to expand market reach. The individual in this role will play a pivotal part in achieving and exceeding sales targets, contributing to the growth and success of our wholesale offerings.

Job Responsibilities:

Drive sales through customer engagement, suggestive selling, and product knowledge.

Assist trade customers in selecting products for their development projects.

Engage with architects, interior decorators, and contractors.

Provide exceptional customer service.

Process and close deals, including cold calling potential clients and setting up appointments.

Maintain relationships with existing customers and promote store offers.

Offer technical assistance and prepare orders.

Reach and exceed sales targets.

Assist at trade shows or exhibitions.

Develop, manage, and grow the trade client base within a defined geographic region.

Maximize cross-sell potential and stay updated on clients’ business developments.

Project and report pipeline and inventory demand on large quotes/orders.

Acquire new trade/corporate customers.

Scope and apply to relevant calls for tender.

Implement and report on strategies for sales growth.

Trade Sales Associate Qualifications/Skills:

Physically fit for site visits.

Active listening skills.

Excellent customer service abilities.

Proven track record of meeting sales goals.

Ability to sell based on customer needs.

In-depth product knowledge.

Strong people and communication skills.

High energy level.

Dependability and general math skills.

Fluent in English.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.


Working Schedule: Monday to Saturday

Own Vehicle an advantage – AA Rates paid for business travel.

Salary: R10000 per month + 6% Commission
